(Blacksburg, VA) -- Five Virginia Tech students have been found guilty of misdemeanors for running a for-profit "Texas Hold'em" poker game in a Blacksburg apartment. Four card dealers and the roommate of the accused ringleader, were each fined between 400 and 1-thousand-dollars. They were among 26 people arrested after a police sting operation. Most of the remaining defendants will be in court today. One of those convicted and fined yesterday was a foreign student who claimed he didn't realize gambling was illegal.
