A Funny One for the Ladies at least...enjoy

Ok...ok before you guys go up in arms about how this is a male bashing post it is not. These are truths. You may not agree with them but they are true. Ladies enjoy. Men try and see the humor and enjoy the fact that this is life. Oh and the credit for this goes to my co-worker who sent this in an email at work...no author given so credit goes to Anonymous.
love ya guys,
Meg
Why Men Are Just Happier People

What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack. You can be president. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO T-shirt to a water park. Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut . Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental -- $100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood -- all the time. Phone co nversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend. Your underwear is $8.95 for three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck. You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocketknife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes. No wonder men are happier!

God has a plan...and I may not like it

Let me start from the begining if I start in the middle it won't make as much sense...back the end of summer begining of fall the church where I worked decided it needed to improve communication. So a committee was started...(its a church thing, everything must have a committee) anyway another suggestion was made that they have a Communication Director to organize things. So proposals were made and the possibility of a full time position was considered. Now being that I will have a communication degree and I have been doing alot of what they were talking about I figured I had a good shot at the position. After thought, meetings, etc it has been decided that a communications person is not needed here and that things need to be researched more. So I'm not sure what this means for me here....I can't continue to work part time without benefits and pay my bills so I will find out what the options are here and go from there. But it looks like the possibility of me looking for a new job may increase here soon.

Now here is the kicker of all that...I love where I work...I love the people I work with...so I'm torn...so lots of questions and missing answers. But who knows maybe this is my push to go to grad school. We'll see what happens.
